Hiya, I know what you mean by not having many contacts with the old Richmond crowd. Same with me even tho I still live in 'glorious' Feltham which isn’t too far from it! It's been suggested (well Morgana suggested it) a while ago that maybe I should organise a get-together. Been thinking about it for a few weeks/months now but, typically, I haven't done anything about it yet! I was wondering if you would be up for it? It would take place at a pub in Richmond (for old times sake!) I'll leave it for you to decide. I more or less know when you have chemo so I could arrange things to be done when you're feeling ok. Don't worry if you don't feel up for it though! I’ll let you know nearer the time when it’s likely to be. I’m a member of the Ramblers Association (I’ve been for almost 6 years and that’s where I’ve met Martin) as I wanted to go out to the countryside away from it all but not on my own. The group (Staines Ramblers) went out to Bucks to walk near Chesham (lovely area). We were ok as far as rain was concerned, but the ground was sooo wet, we alI had mud splashed up to our knees!! What I’m trying to say here, is that I envy you and Phil being able to walk out of your house into woods, I would love to be able to do that...but not from Feltham... oh well, one day. This is a longer comment than I intended but it’s been a long time since we last saw each other (I left TNS in August 2000). Take care for now and speak (or send a comment) to you soon. Sylvie x
